I love Dale Jr – I think he is a killer driver, but I think he runs on the outside of turns like a security blanket! Why does he CONSISTENTLY drive the outside of turns and then he loses 3, 4 places every time because everyone else runs on the INSIDE? I’m so frustrated! Am I alone in this thinking?

Answer… Well we don’t always know what his pit crew chief is telling him, remember that guy is his spotter. Maybe it’s not Jr. maybe it’s his spotter. It might be both of them. After his fathers death maybe he want to be as careful as possible.  Moreover, maybe he is scared something will happen to him. You can’t ever tell what a race car driver is thinking. They are going around in circles at 200 miles an hour, i would play it safe, until i was absolutely sure i was OK to do what ever i was thinking of doing. Another thing, I love dale Jr as much as the next guy, but just because his dads last name and his are the same doesn’t mean that he will ever drive like him. Maybe one day he will, but i don’t think he will ever drive exactly like his dad…
